Overview: Jet-Fly is a giant cyborg fly, once a peaceful kaiju who was brutally mauled. His life was saved by humans, and he was retro-fitted with missile launchers and hover wings. A gliding, flying carrier of death, Jet-Fly is under the control of a corrupt genius with a personal agenda. Although his location is currently unknown, it is speculated he could attack again at any time.

Origin: Dipterax was a benevolent kaiju, a giant fly who never harmed a soul and assisted many of earth's defenders. During a fight between Ktunu and his rival Megasoma, the defender of China fell and Dipterax intervened, but was maliciously mauled by the monstrous beetle.
The remains of Dipterax were recovered by the Indian government, who desired to create a cybernetic defender to protect them from hostile kaiju attacks. They decided to use Dipterax's body as the canvas for their superweapon. Head of the ambitious "Jet-Fly" project was Dr Gagan Keer, a scientist with a personal agenda against the corrupt and greedy Indian government. Keer supervised the fitting of Dipterax with neural nodules which allowed him to be controlled through the computer, but surreptitiously made a few adjustments to the equipment of his own. When the completed defender was unveiled, complete with rotor wings, ballistic cannons, a variety of offensive missiles and a sonic blast projector, the Indian people cheered. The new kaiju, named Jet-Fly, quickly gained the chance to prove himself. A rampant kaiju began attacking downtown deli. By fell chance, it was Megasoma. Jet-Fly engaged the threat and quickly destroyed it.
But then, horrifically, Jet-Fly turned his explosive arsenal on the skyscrapers and infrastructure of the city, laying waste to the very ground he was meant to protect. A scientist ran to the control terminal to perform an emergency-shutdown, but found Dr Keer and the control console mysteriously vanished.
When Jet-Fly had done billions of dollars of damage to the buildings and roads of Delhi, he flew to the science complex. A door in his carapace opened, and Dr Gagen Keer entered his weapon of mass destruction. The two flew off into the horizon. Since then, Jet-Fly has reappeared and destroyed many coastal cities in the Asian sub-continent. Due to his unique power system, he can fly virtually forever, and requires no landing zone. It is not known whether some part of the peaceful Dipterax still remains alive, tortured by the chaos and destruction he is helpless to stop, or if Jet-Fly is simply the flying dead, an empty husk under the complete control of an insane genius.
